September 12, 2020
St. Ann Cares Day of Caring has been moved to Saturday September 12. This year's project will be to help an elderly woman in Avon. The house needs much repair, painting and landscaping. Please consider joining us for this very worthy project. Sign up can be done by going to the St. Ann's website or pick up a form in the St. Ann Cares mail box near the church office. St. Ann's Cares is a branch of the Social Justice Committee of St. Ann's Church. It was founded in 1993
as part of the Americares Homefront Project, and became its own entity in 2002. Its mission is simple: to
provide a "safer, warmer, drier" living environment for the less fortunate. Toward that goal, St. Ann’s Cares
has managed an army of volunteers for a "day of caring" designed to build, upgrade, renovate, and beautify
housing for thousands of people over the years. Group homes, shelters, and even private dwellings have
benefited from the skills and generosity of our parishioners.
